Residential flats (Wallington)
Although not a particularly high building, the request to repoint 250m2 of brickwork would have meant that scaffolding would have needed to be erected on every elevation of the building, posing not only very real security risks and inconvenience to the residents, but also large costs to the property manager/residents.
As always, we aim to be as transparent as possible to all involved. work debris is removed at the end of every day and by the time the ropes are de-rigged it would be virtually impossible to tell that we had been there.
Due to the efficiency of our methods it was agreed that we would commence with an additional 150m2 of pointing, with materials being a small cost overall savings were made with this type of access.
