A course of blown brick work at roof level was identified as a potential risk to the residents. we were able to safely access and inspect the area of concern, Due to the location of the problem area, a thorough investigation into the seriousness and cause of the problem had not been conducted.

Via Industrial abseiling we were able to safely access and inspect the area of concern. The removal of the loose brick work was undertaken with the up most care, nullifying the potential risk, and making the area safe.

The cause of the blown brick work, the deteriorate of a structural steel beam due to water ingress, was identified and deemed necessary for inspection by a surveyor at a later date. the area was made safe by being shored with timber, and water tight by the application of heat torched flash band, to be inspected but the surveyor and re bricked when ready.
